The employee availability function can very useful especially in conjunction with the eSovle auto rostering feature. eSolve can produce optimal employee shift schedules based on staff pre inputted availability.
For example, an employee can make themselves available for a particular date or dates by simply selecting the date and entering a start time and end time. Employees can also set unavailability dates within a calendar/agenda. With staff availability or unavailability set, a supervisor or the eSolve feature can then see from their dashboard that this employee is available for a particular shift. Depending on compliance with work rules, skillsets and shift requirements this employee can be assigned to a particular shift.
