The trade board is a staff centric function. Employees are notified by the system when another employee offers up a shift. A notification goes out to staff members that are qualified for a particular shift on offer. The employee that takes up the job offer remains anonymous to the original employee on the shift.
Trade deadlines can be set so that managers or shift supervisors can manage and monitor the shift before it becomes active. Any shift slots that remain on the trade-board past the deadline are automatically removed from the board. A notification is sent back to the employee who originally offered the job notifying them that the trade offer has been removed and the employee is still scheduled to work the job.
Employee permissions can be set in the preferences of the trade board. Predetermined rules are constraints that can be set so that an employee can be blocked from offering up a job slot to the trade board. Employee permission, job type permission, individual permission and trade deadlines are all factors that can be used to set up a ‘trade block’.
Pre-defined constraints within eSolve can filter and calculate the available and unavailable employees for each trade by qualifying all data rules.
Shift Swap
The trade board facilitates employees to easily exchange job shifts. The offered job is shown to the eligible employee only to maintain efficiency and keep within the shift parameters.
Anonymous Identity
When the trade is accepted, the trading employee’ identity is kept anonymous. This helps in balancing out the trades.
Auto Withdrawl
If the predetermined trade deadline expires, the trade offer is automatically removed from the trade board. It also notifies the employee that their scheduled job hs expired.
Rules and System preferences
